1. The Agreement

These terms apply unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Renter (“the Client”) and Running Productions AB (“the Lessor”).All rentals are made at the Client’s own risk. Running Productions AB retains full authority over the equipment and reserves the right to cancel a booking if sufficient grounds arise.

2. Equipment Handover

Running Productions AB guarantees that the equipment is in proper working condition at the time of rental.
The Client must inspect the equipment upon collection. Equipment may not be transferred or subleased to any third party without written consent from Running Productions AB.

Transport of the equipment is entirely at the Client’s own risk. The equipment may not be taken outside of Sweden without written permission.

The Lessor reserves the right to withhold delivery of equipment if valid identification matching the booking cannot be presented.

3. Return of Equipment

Responsibility for the rented equipment transfers to the Client upon collection and remains until the equipment is returned to the Lessor.
The Client is required to handle and store the equipment with care and may not leave it unattended.

The equipment must be returned clean and in good condition, considering normal wear and tear.
If cleaning is required, a fee of 400 SEK/hour will be charged.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that all personnel handling the equipment have sufficient knowledge to avoid misuse or damage.
If Running Productions AB reasonably suspects insufficient technical competence, the company reserves the right to deny release of the equipment.

During the rental period, the Client is liable for any loss or damage (excluding normal wear and tear).
In case of theft or loss, Running Productions AB must be notified immediately, and a police report must be filed with a copy provided to the Lessor.

Lost or damaged equipment will continue to be charged at the daily rental rate until repaired or replaced unless otherwise agreed.
Replacements are valued at new replacement cost, and the Client must pay any difference between the insurance compensation and the full replacement value.

If the equipment is deemed beyond repair, the Client is responsible for all costs related to replacement.
In cases where damage results from negligence, the insurance may not cover the incident, and the Client remains fully liable.

4. Responsibility and Liability

5. Lost or Defective Equipment

If the equipment is lost or returned defective, the Lessor will, unless otherwise agreed, restore or replace it to its original condition.
The Client will be charged for the deductible, repair costs, and any loss of income from subsequent rentals.

If the insurance does not cover the incident due to negligence, the Client must replace the damaged equipment with new items of equivalent specification and value.

If identical used equipment cannot be procured, compensation will be based on the item’s full replacement value.

6. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, full prepayment is required no later than the day before pickup.
Approved business clients may be invoiced according to agreed terms.

Late payments are subject to statutory reminder fees and interest in accordance with the Swedish Interest Act.
Running Productions AB reserves the right to repossess rented equipment if payment is not made on time.

Payment must be completed within 30 days from the invoice date unless otherwise specified.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before rental start will be charged 50% of the rental fee.
For rentals exceeding seven days, cancellations within 72 hours before rental start are also charged 50%.

Late payment interest: reference rate + 8%.
Each payment reminder incurs a statutory reminder fee.
All prices are exclusive of 25% VAT.

The Client is responsible for any freight, transportation, or additional costs associated with delivery and late return.
Unjustified service calls or false fault reports that require staff attendance are charged 700 SEK/hour.

Any objections to invoices must be submitted within 14 days of the invoice date.

7. Insolvency

If the Client is declared bankrupt, suspends payments, or otherwise deemed unable to fulfill payment obligations, Running Productions AB reserves the right to terminate the booking immediately.

8. Insurance

The Client must ensure that their own or any subcontractor’s insurance covers rented equipment, personnel, and facilities against fire, theft, or damage.

Running Productions AB maintains basic insurance for owned and rented equipment within Sweden.
Insurance coverage can be extended by adding 5% of the total rental amount (before discounts) to the approved quote.

9. Safety and Operating Instructions

The Client must ensure that all personnel handling the equipment are trained and qualified to prevent damage or misuse.
The Client may not repair or modify the equipment without written permission from the Lessor.

Repairs due to normal wear are covered by the Lessor, while damages caused by misuse or negligence will be charged to the Client.

10. Ownership

Ownership of the rented equipment remains with Running Productions AB.
The Client is granted a limited, non-exclusive right of use for the agreed rental period only.

11. Limitation of Liability

Running Productions AB is not responsible for failed recordings, data loss, or production delays caused by equipment malfunction or circumstances beyond its control.

12. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their control, including (but not limited to) strikes, fire, lightning, power outages exceeding 14 hours, or similar events.

If such circumstances prevent fulfillment of the contract for more than one month, either party may terminate the agreement in writing without compensation.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute between the Client and Running Productions AB shall be finally settled by arbitration in Stockholm, in accordance with the rules of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Institute (SCC).
However, Running Productions AB reserves the right to pursue undisputed and overdue claims in ordinary court.

14. VAT

All prices are subject to 25% value-added tax (VAT) in accordance with Swedish law.
